Gaba Oolong

What is GABA? GABA is short for gamma-aminobutyric acid – a naturally occurring amino acid utilised by the human nervous system. It primarily acts as an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the function of adult nervous systems. GABA is also used in supplemental form to encourage anti-anxiety and relaxation. Because of its calming and soothing effects, GABA also lowers blood pressure, helps control hypoglycaemia, prevents anxiety and promotes restful sleep. It also may regulate appetite, helping to maintain an optimal weight.
