Er br\u00fchte Tee in seiner alten Tasse \u2013 der gleichen, die er aus Indien mitgebracht hatte \u2013 und lud sie ein, mit ihm zu trinken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als der Dampf des Oolong-Tees in die Luft stieg, stellte er ihnen allen dieselbe Frage:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014 <strong>Was ist die Essenz des Dharma?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der erste Sch\u00fcler sprach ausf\u00fchrlich \u00fcber die Gesetze des Karma, die Vier Edlen Wahrheiten und den Gro\u00dfen Pfad des Buddha und versuchte, die Wahrheit in Worte zu fassen \u2013 etwa, wenn man den Tee zu lange ziehen l\u00e4sst und dadurch Bitterkeit hervorruft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bodhidharma sch\u00fcttelte den Kopf:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014 <strong>Du hast nur die Haut verstanden.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der zweite Sch\u00fcler gab eine kurze, aber selbstbewusste Antwort, als w\u00fcrde er genau die richtige Menge Teebl\u00e4tter abmessen und nichts verschwenden:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014 <strong>Alles ist Leere.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bodhidharma nickte:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014 <strong>Du hast das Fleisch verstanden.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der dritte Sch\u00fcler fl\u00fcsterte ein einziges Wort \u2013 kaum h\u00f6rbar, wie der fl\u00fcchtige Duft von frisch gebr\u00fchtem Tee, der verschwindet, bevor man ihn wahrnehmen kann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014 <strong>Du hast die Knochen verstanden,<\/strong> der Meister best\u00e4tigte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der vierte Sch\u00fcler verbeugte sich schweigend und nahm die Tasse entgegen, ohne Fragen zu stellen. Er atmete den Duft ein, schmeckte Bitterkeit und S\u00fc\u00dfe zugleich, sp\u00fcrte die W\u00e4rme in seinen H\u00e4nden und trank den Tee, als w\u00e4re er die Essenz der Lehre selbst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bodhidharma l\u00e4chelte:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014 <strong>Sie haben die tiefste Wahrheit verstanden.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Er reichte sein Gewand <strong>und seinen Becher als Zeichen der Nachfolge weiter.<\/strong> als Zeichen der Nachfolge.
